AI Overviews is the name Google uses for the summaries written by AI that appear above the classic search results. Instead of a list of links, you first read a short text put together for your question.
They are available in Austria, so people here see them when they search for what you offer. Next to them Google runs a separate AI mode, a search view in which the whole answer is written in this way.
There is no way to book a place in an overview. It is not advertising space, and it cannot be ordered. Whether your pages are used follows from the same work as in AI search in general and from solid SEO.
